Account & workspace
Workspaces
Belonging to more than one workspace, switching between them, and what is shared within one.
A workspace is the top-level container: it owns the projects, the membership and the plan. A personal account gets one automatically; joining a team gives you a second.
Switching
Use the switcher in the top header. Each workspace has its own subdomain, so switching changes the address as well as the contents — expected behaviour, not a redirect gone wrong.
What is scoped to a workspace
| Scoped to the workspace | Scoped to you |
|---|---|
| Projects | Your profile and avatar |
| Members and their roles | Your theme and project colours |
| The plan, seats and token allowance | Your notification preferences |
| The audit log | Your favourites |
Because the plan is per workspace, the same account can be on a free personal workspace and a paid team workspace at once — and what you can do changes as you switch between them.
Leaving a workspace
Ask an owner or admin to remove you, or use the leave control if your role allows it. Leaving does not delete the work you did there.
