Collaboration
Share links
Giving someone access with a link instead of an individual invitation.
A share link gives access to a project without adding each person individually. It is the right tool for a client review or an external consultant who needs to look but not join your workspace.
Creating one
From the project's sharing controls. Managing the share link is a capability in its own right — typically the project owner's.
What a link grants
The link carries a role, and everyone who arrives through it gets that role. Give it the least access that does the job: a link intended for review should carry Viewer, not Collaborator.
Treat the link as the credential
Anybody holding the link can use it. Forwarding it forwards the access. If a link escapes, revoke it and issue a new one — that is exactly what revocation is for.
Revoking
Revoking invalidates the link immediately. People who joined through it lose access unless they were separately invited.
