Glossary
Every term the product uses, in one place.
- Adjacency
- The third AIRA step — which departments should be near each other, and how the programme stacks vertically. See Adjacency.
- AIRA
- The design assistant that produces a spatial programme from a brief and a site.
- Atlas
- The token wallet that covers general AI chat, including spAIce questions.
- Buildable envelope
- The maximum volume the plot permits — computed from the setback ring, FAR × site area, and height ÷ floor-to-floor.
- Department
- A programme block — a group of related rooms with an area allocation.
- Design
- The drawing or model document a module opens. What collaboration synchronises and versions snapshot.
- Effective role
- What your role actually permits after any plan restriction is applied. Can be lower than your assigned role.
- Instance copy
- A linked duplicate — editing one updates all of them. Contrast with a unique copy.
- Iteration
- A parallel attempt at the same project, with its own designs and history.
- Moodboard
- The SpaceStory surface where references, figures and analysis are collected.
- Programme
- The schedule of what the building contains — departments, rooms and areas.
- Project Context
- The first AIRA step: the site, envelope, environment and constraints the design must respect.
- Purchased credits
- AI credits bought as a top-up pack. Never expire, and are spent only after the included allowance. Spending them needs an active ProSync plan — on the free plan they are parked until you subscribe again.
- Seat
- A place in a workspace for one active member.
- Share link
- A link granting a fixed role to anyone who holds it. See Share links.
- spAIce
- The site-analysis layer — built form, movement, environment and civic context on a live map.
- Stale
- An AIRA step whose upstream input changed after it was accepted, so its output may no longer follow.
- Version
- A named snapshot of a design. History is append-only — a restore never deletes a later state.
- Wallet
- One of three separate AI credit budgets: AIRA, Atlas and Render.
- Workspace
- The top-level container. Owns projects, members and the plan.
