Troubleshooting

The problems that come up most, and what actually fixes them.

AI is slow or does not respond

Generation legitimately takes from a few seconds to around half a minute depending on the step. If a request errors, retry once — transient failures are the common case.

If it keeps failing, check whether the relevant token wallet is empty. It refuses politely rather than hanging, but the message is easy to miss if you have looked away.

I cannot edit something I own

Almost always a plan limit rather than a permissions fault. The interface distinguishes them: a plan limit offers an upgrade, a role limit tells you to ask the project owner. See Roles and permissions.

Also check the project is not archived — archived projects are read-only by design.

A button does nothing

Reload the page first. If it persists, check whether a panel or dialog is open somewhere off-screen — an open modal can absorb clicks meant for what is behind it. If it still persists, report it with the browser and what you were doing.

My collaborator cannot see my changes

Confirm you are both in the same iteration — two iterations of one project are separate documents and will never show each other's edits. If you are, and one of you has been disconnected for a while, that person should reload. See Real-time collaboration.

The units are wrong

Units belong to the project, not to you, and anyone with the capability can change them for everyone. See Preferences.

I dropped a comment pin and cannot find it

A dropped pin is a local draft until you submit it. If you dropped one and navigated away, it was never sent. See Comments.

The 3D view is slow

Check hardware acceleration is enabled in your browser, close other heavy tabs, and see Supported browsers.

I did not get an email

Check spam. Verification and password-reset emails arrive within a few minutes; invitations can be resent from the project's member list. If nothing arrives at all, the address on the account may be wrong — check it under Profile.
