Inviting people

Adding collaborators to a project, and what happens on their end.

Open the project and use the collaborator control in the project header. Add people by email address and pick the role they should get.

What the invitee sees

  1. They receive an invitation

    By email, and in the app if they already have an account.

  2. They accept

    If they do not have an account yet, accepting walks them through creating one first. The invitation stays attached to the address it was sent to.

  3. The project appears under Collab

    Not under My Projects — that list is for work they own. See Organising projects.

Changing or removing access

The member list shows everyone on the project, including pending invitations. From there you can change a role or remove someone, provided you hold the capability to do so.

Note

Removing someone from a project does not delete anything they made. Their drawings, comments and versions stay — authorship is recorded, not tied to continued access.
