The Boards wall

Boards is where an AIRA run ends. It lays the whole programme out as a wall of boards — one per step — so the project can be read the way a crit wall is read, rather than by clicking through three screens in sequence.

It is a view, not a generative step. Nothing produces a board; boards are drawn from the work the three steps already did, which is why the wall cannot be stale in its own right.

What a board shows

A board reflects the honest state of its step, including the awkward states:

Accepted

The committed payload, drawn as the figure.

Several options under review

The options are shown as options, with AIRA's recommendation marked. No single one is drawn as though it had been chosen, because none has.

A new proposal over accepted work

The accepted version stays the figure — it is the truth on record — and the pending proposal is flagged beside it.

Not yet run

A placeholder that names what it is waiting for, rather than an empty frame.

Expanding a board

Click a board to open it full size. This is the view to use in a review meeting — the figures are drawn at presentation scale rather than thumbnail scale.

Sending work onward

Boards can be added to the project's moodboard, which is where they become available to SpaceSheets and SpaceShow for a presentation.
